Landmark advised Masisa (SNSE:MASISA), a leading regional manufacturer of wood boards with operations throughout Latin America, on the sale of its biomass cogeneration plant to Neoelectra. The 11.1 MW cogeneration plant is located at Masisa’s main industrial facility in Cabrero, Chile. The transaction also involved the negotiation of 15-year contracts for the supply of energy and steam to Masisa’s production facility. Neoelectra is a Spain-based business group specialized in providing energy solutions for industry. This is Neoelectra’s first transaction in Latin America. |
