Landmark Alantra served as the exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of Teleticket on the sale of a majority stake to the Joint Venture established by CTS Eventim (XTRA:EVD), one of the leading providers of ticketing and live entertainment services globally, and Sony Music Latin Iberia, one of the preeminent companies in the music industry. Teleticket was established in 1996 by the Wong family in Peru. Subsequently, in 2007, following the acquisition of the Wong and Metro supermarket chains by Cencosud, the ownership of Teleticket also transitioned to the Chilean holding company. In 2016, Teleticket was acquired by the leading Chilean live events tickets’ provider, Punto Ticket, as part of its international expansion strategy. With a 27-year successful track record, Teleticket has positioned itself as the leading tickets provider for events in Peru and one of the most important in the region. Its portfolio includes tickets for concerts, theater performances, sports events, and family-oriented shows. With the acquisition of Teleticket, the Joint Venture between CTS Eventim / Sony Music Latin Iberia now provides ticketing services in three South America’s biggest live entertainment markets, namely Brazil, Chile, and Peru. |
